Many people now have more than one sim card and this is the most convenient/effective/economical
way to fit 2 sims into one phone. e.g. one sim for receiving calls and one sim
for making calls or use different sim at different times.
Dual Sim batteries had been on the market for the purpose for some time and
many people found them reasonable.. Dual Sim batteries are expensive (around
US$60 and some even more), usually bulky, and the capacity is often much less
than original ones. If you need a spare one, it adds up to a very expensive
set up.
TWIN-SIM COVER works more or less the same
way as Dual Sim Battery. But you use your own batteries (however many you have)
or you can buy spare batteries at reasonable prices.
HOW IT WORKS - TWIN-SIM
COVER is the back cover of the phone which hold 2 sims, connecting
via a ribbon to a virtual sim which is fitted to the sim slot of the phone.
After the battery is fitted, you fit the TWIN-SIM COVER
in place of the original back cover and it is ready for use. You use the phone
the normal way. Only one sim is used at any time. You switch to the other sim
by turning the phone off and on again.

very little weight and size overall when fitted.

At last the perfect solution for 5/6/7100 series phones.
It is fitted between the phone and battery and adds 12g in weight and 4.5mm
in thickness to the phone. You can leave it permanently in the phone as you
do not need to remove it when you change battery.

FAQ
Can I receive calls for BOTH sims
at the same time?
No, you can use only one sim at any one time. If you need to receive
calls for 2 sims all the time, you need 2 phones.
Is performance affected?
No, the phone/network performance is exactly the same as your
original one sim.
Can I use one sim of GSM 900 and
the other GSM 1800?
Yes, as long as your phone supports (all the ones available have
dual band capability), and GSM 1900 for the Motorola L2000.
Do I have to use certain batteries?
You continue to use whatever batteries you have. It makes no difference.
How do I know which sim I am using?
If the 2 sims are from different Networks (Service providers),
it shows the operator logo so there is no problem. If your 2 sims are from the
same Network, there is no way to know which one you are using by looking at
the phone. You can enter identification on the first line of your phone book
(sim) and check which one you are using by looking at the phone book.
Can the phone show operator logos
for both sims?
No, operator logo is stored in the phone, not in the sim and the
phone can store only one logo. You can store operator logo of either of the
2 sims. The other one just shows the default logo or text.
Is it really useful for me?
It depends whether you think it is worth the money.
Practically, or technically, it adds no enhancement to your phone.
All it gives you is convenience (may be more than that). If you use 2 sims,
you can switch off the phone and then swap the sim and switch on the phone again.
TWIN-SIM COVER saves you repeating the procedures, and reduces the risks of
wear on the sims as you do not have to remove the sims from the COVER any more.
The risk of losing the loose sim is also eliminated.
