Power output from Compaq AC adapter is 5V/ 2A, output from standard USB port is
5V/500mA. So it takes longer for USB charge cable to charge the IPAQ. In practice,
it takes 2-3 hours to fully charge the IPAQ with USB charge cable. Warning
: DO NOT connect the Sync/Charge cable at the same time as other external power
supply (such as AC adapter, other USB charge cable or Battery extender)

How
do I connect PPC and mobile phone for email/internet ? See:

Do
you know (or guarantee) that the serial interface (PQSM/PHJSM)
will work with my serial device (e.g. GPS)? Serial
devices may be standard or non-standard. We do not know or guarantee it will work
for some devices that we have not tested. PQSM
and PHJSM replace
the need to use a serial sync cable PLUS null
modem adapter. You can ask your supplier that
whether it will work with serial sync cable +
null modem adapter and you should be able to
get yes or no answer. If the answer is yes, then PQSM/PHJSM
will work.
Do
serial interface (PQSM/PHJSM)
work with all external modems? They
work with all Hayes compatible external modems without any additional driver.
Some may need CE driver or specific intialisation strings (consult your modem
supplier). As most modems are equipped with 25-pin(F) connection, you require
25M>9F modem adapter (25M>9F cable preferred) which may be included with many
modems.
Can
I have a longer USB Sync cable? Almost
all our customers prefer a shorter/lighter cable to carry around. As most are
using laptop or desktop with front USB connection or hub, a shorter cable is usually
preferred. If you do need a longer cable to connect to the back of your desktop,
you can buy an USB extension cable (A>B) with various lengths which is easily
available from most computer shops for no more than a few dollars.
Do
you have cables for other PPC and/or phones? Not
at present but we will work for other possibilities.
Do
you have any cable that can connect 1910
to a GPS? No,
1910 does
not have a serial port or USB host capability so there is not way to connect any
GPS to 1910
via cable. We would suggest you change your PPC if you want to use GPS.
