This is a very simple little program
to use and seems to work well.
Though we have reservation on whether
it may have adverse effect on the phone.
We do not know whether this is
a copyrighted software. We could not find any information on the author
or owner of this software so we assumed it is a freeware. Therefor, until
we receive any objection or otherwise, we put this software for download
here. (do not blink, it will finish downloading before you realize
because it is only 9k in size)
Connect the phone with MBUS cable
Run the program in Windows.
After the program starts, follow the procedures:
1. Select com port 2. Click Read (IMPORTANT,
you must do this FIRST).
3. Select VISIBLE under Vibra
Function.
4. Click Write. 5. Click SW Reset (phone will reset)
You can also turn the vibra funstion off (INVISIBLE)
this way.
You must follow procedures in the
above order.
If you select VISIBLE
and then Write
and then SW Reset without
clicking
Read
first, the LCD contrast will be changed to zero (BLANK
!!)
If your LCD does go blank, no damage
is done, it is the contrast that has been
changed to zero. The problem can
be solved with Wintesla or Pclocal (to change
LCD contrast).
